Gina BacalskiGina started writing stories and books as a small child. In middle school, inspired by her 7th grade teacher who was a professional story teller for the Utah Shakespearean Festival, Gina started making up and telling stories of her own.
When she married her husband in 2013, and told him of her most recent story idea, he encouraged her to write it down. With his encouragement and support, she wrote her first novel, What Katie Did, which will be published in winter of 2018. Since she started writing her first novel, Gina has taken writing courses and attended con’s, workshops, and conference to enhance her craft. Lacking a writing group of her own, in 2017 she gathered some like minded individuals and together they started Pensive Scribblers. As one does with the sharing of one’s hearts and souls, Pensive Scribblers quickly formed a strong bond that could only be rivaled by familial. |
